The Town Hall of Arnuero continues to focus its tourism promotion efforts on showcasing some of the most relevant aspects of its tourism offering. Indeed, in recent years there has been a clear commitment to boosting tourism experiences that generate an emotional impact on people.
In this vein, the presentation that will be held at FITUR 2025 on Thursday the 23rd at 5 p.m. will be called “Ecoparque, a journey through time”, with which it aims to take the public from the Cantabria Stand to the municipality, on a virtual journey, making them live some of the most significant experiences from the wide-ranging offering of the Ecoparque de Trasmiera.
The Ecoparque is entering a third stage in its development, almost coinciding with its third decade, and which aims to set itself apart from the previous two precisely by focusing on offering residents and visitors experiences that complete the municipality’s excellent natural and cultural heritage. If during the first decade of this century work was carried out to recover natural spaces and restore cultural heritage, and in the second decade the Interpretation Centres and various cultural programmes were launched, in this third stage a strong push is being made to connect with people through proposals and experiences rooted in the municipality’s history and culture. So we could talk about the Fairs of the Pepper and of the Wine of Isla, and its appendix of gastro experiences in Isla Gastronómica; the staging of several visits to the centres; sensory experiences such as blind tastings, or musical walks in which to discover our tradition or our nature. In this way, each tourist season the Ecoparque has been adding to the more traditional offering, a range of proposals that seek better connection with people, closer engagement with our territory and its traditions, modernisation through new technologies, and capacity management with reduced numbers through digitalisation.
In this way, Arnuero has set a clear direction in its commitment to a sustainable tourism model by promoting a large green infrastructure network that will form a network of Centres, paths, recreational areas, areas for physical activity and places for contemplation. A complete connection with nature, to travel on foot or by bicycle. By opting for mobility with less impact and greater energy efficiency, which together with sensory and learning experiences offer a welcoming place to live and to visit, in line with the slogan adopted in recent years: “Ecoparque, Vitamina Territory”
The presentation will take place on Thursday the 23rd of January at 5:00 p.m. at the Cantabria Stand, and alongside the municipal authorities, some members of the Ecoparque de Trasmiera team will take part.
