The deadline for submitting stories will be from 1 December 2021 to 28 February 2022, and all writers over 16 years of age may take part, with texts in the Spanish language.
The Town Hall of Arnuero calls for a new edition of the Ecoparque de Trasmiera Brief Stories Contest, which will be the fourth. After three consecutive editions, which have been characterised by a high number of participants and proven quality, the Town Hall moves forward with this cultural proposal, although the call dates have been delayed slightly due to delays caused by the pandemic in previous editions. Thus, with the aim of bringing together in a single event the presentation of prizes for the 4th edition together with the launch of the previous book, the submission date for contest stories has been moved to the months of December, January and February, so that too much time does not pass between the end of the submission deadline and the Jury’s decision.
At the same time as the call for this fourth third edition, we begin preparations for the publication of the prize-winning story book from 2020, in a carefully produced edition of this third book that will include the stories by Agustín García Aguado, first prize for the work “El furor de Ceres”, José Antonio Gago, second prize for the work “Cebollas”, Javier Rabeiro Fragela, third prize for the work “Adictos”, Juan Antonio Trillo, special mention with “New generation” and Rafael Ruiz with “La mano muerta”.
