The Castellano estuary, at its mouth where it meets the sea, creates a vast stretch of golden, fine sand. Its first section, with a more family-oriented character, has all the facilities, flies the Blue Flag and carries the Q for Tourist Quality, and is certified for environmental quality and accessibility. The estuary section is almost untouched, and in some areas nudism is practised. Its clear, calm waters, together with a natural setting of spectacular beauty, make this beach a unique destination. Care must be taken with the currents generated by the estuary.
