Boats' Beach

This beach, located in the urban centre of Isla Playa, is distinctive for having a few moorings for boats which, when the tide is low, run aground on the fine sand. During this time when the sea withdraws, it’s easy to cross the ria and enjoy a good stroll along the nearby beach of Ris. Be careful not to stay there too long, because the tide will start rising again in just a few hours and it will be harder to make it back. It has a platform like a sun deck, and it’s especially popular with children because, during low tide, they can explore lots of pools and rocky corners.
