ISLAJAZZ 2023. MUSIC, CULTURE AND LOCAL GASTRONOMY.
The IslaJazz Festival closes its programme for the 2023 edition, with a total of 3 concerts on the main stage in the square in front of the Isla church and the company of what they have called “Unusual Jazz”, six experiences in which the connecting thread is jazz, but which aim to be developed in different locations around the municipality and in smaller formats to introduce the public to the culture, the rural world and the gastronomy of the Ecoparque. All information and ticket bookings can be found on the festival’s own website www.islajazz.es
For a few years now, the Ecoparque de Trasmiera has been expanding its range of leisure and cultural activities, in a clear commitment to more personal, closer experiences for participants, in small group formats, to make it easier to create unique emotions and memorable moments that leave a lovely mark on our visitors.
With that in mind, we want Jazz to be the thread running through UNUSUAL EXPERIENCES that will take us to different spots around the municipality, where we can showcase our culture, gastronomy, nature and local artisan producers. Because at the Ecoparque de Trasmiera, music can only be an excuse to enter a unique territory and discover its soul.
So, together with the major concerts held on the main stage in the square in Isla’s historic centre, and with the idea that the whole municipality will be infused with the magic of jazz, we head to Arnuero to fuse Miró’s painting with Jazz, or to Castillo to discover the world of livestock farming and some local producers of cheeses and beers, to the Bodegas Isla vineyard to discover the restored wine-making tradition, to the Astuy nursery to discover the fascinating world of Isla’s langoustines, or to the Joyel saltmarsh to reconnect with jazz and nature. A whole world of jazz alternatives to enjoy big and small.
