On 31 March, the deadline for submitting short stories closed for the fifth edition of the literary competition at the Ecoparque de Trasmiera, with 180 entries. After the appropriate process of reading and deliberation by the panel for this 5th Contest, the following stories and authors were finally selected as finalists:
– “THE MAN WHO CAME FROM THE HIGH LANDS”, Guillermo Rubio Arias-Paz.
– “SACRISTY”, José Luis Pérez Pérez.
– “ADAM’S CLAY”, Ernesto Tubía Landeras.
These have been intense months of reading and deliberation due to the high standard that, since its first edition, has characterised the Short Stories Contest Ecoparque de Trasmiera, which year on
year goes on strengthening its presence in the world of Letters.
Next Saturday 10 June 2023, at 7 p.m. at the Casa de las Mareas, the book presentation event for the fourth edition will take place, and the awards verdict will also be announced. For this, the panel will meet again for a final deliberation in which they will determine the order of the awards, as well as whether or not to grant accésit awards to any other work in the competition.
In this way, the Ecoparque de Trasmiera literary contest continues on a happy path that is starting to firmly establish the event as one of the most interesting on the national scene.
