The deadline for submitting stories will be from 1 February 2023 to 31 March 2023 and all writers over 16 years of age may take part, with texts in the Spanish language.

The Town Hall of Arnuero calls for a new edition of the Short Story Contest Ecoparque de Trasmiera, which will already be the fifth. The Contest that sets out to present its fifth edition is already regarded as a consolidated project, characterised by a high number of participants and by proven quality. For this reason, the Town Hall continues with this cultural initiative, although the call dates have been delayed slightly in order to coordinate the dates of the most important moments of the competition. With the aim of bringing together, in a single event, the presentation of prizes for the 5th edition and the introduction of the book from the previous year, the date for submitting stories for the contest has been moved to the months of February and March, so that not too much time passes between the end of the submission period and the Jury’s decision, which is estimated to be in May, so that in June the prizes ceremony can be organised.
At the same time as this call for the fifth, third edition, we begin the preparations for the publication of the book of award-winning stories from 2022, in a carefully produced edition of this fourth book which will include the stories of First prize for “ENTERRADO EN TIERRA EXTRAÑA” by José Luis Baños Vegas (Salamanca), Second prize for “TODOS LOS MARES DEL MUNDO SON UNO SOLO” by Javier Carro Díaz (Barcelona), Third prize for “TODOS LOS CAMINOS” by Rafalé Guadalmedina (Granada) and the runner-up award for ASÍ FUE COMO VOLVIMOS A LA NORMALIDAD by Holger Raúl Ortega Martínez (Ecuador)
