On its side, the municipality is bordered by the Quejo Estuary, which at high tide covers the inlet with sea water up to the Molino de Santa Olaja. Along its course there are small coves, among which we highlight La Cava and El Cándano, although at low tide a large sandy flat is formed to enjoy numerous small coves and little pools created by the estuary.
