If anything stands out above all the activities at the Ecoparque of Trasmiera, it’s the meeting between people and the exchange of knowledge. Welcoming visitors from every background, both local and national or international, and showing them the essence of this land through its culture and customs is the DNA of the Ecoparque. Now it’s our turn to be closed and to do without the wonderful madness of sharing visits at our interpretation centres, of seeing you walking along our paths or of admiring your bare feet at the edge of the sea. Now it’s time to do without what we like most and gives meaning to our existence: offering you our land, telling you our story, and sitting down to savour a centuries-old cuisine.
WE’RE CLOSED, but only the essential things so that, between all of us, we can win the battle against COVID-19, each one from home, physically apart and isolated but very close in this shared fight. We have lost physical contact, but not the ability to keep telling each other things, to nurture our relationship, and to keep growing emotionally so that when we see each other again, our embrace will be endless, just like this land of Cantabria.
